The novel, Pearson's 2nd following her successful debut I am not sure How She Does It, is about one girl's obsession with David Cassidy. Miramax Film Company filed its suit for break of contract against Pearson on Fri. in Manhattan Fed Court, according to Reuters, pronouncing that though Pearson accepted $700000 in Aug 2003 under a two-year contract, she has still not delivered the novel.

Miramax expounded that Pearson has ignored its requests for info about the book's whereabouts since 2006. "The excitability of the market does make for some massive deals on half finished material" he claimed.
