JK Rowling speaks about her mum's death from MS in a rare interview. Top selling writer JK Rowling has spoken of her regret that she never told her mum about her internationally renowned creation, Harry Potter. She commenced work on her tales of the neophyte magician 6 months before write a novel her mum Anne, who had

multiple sclerosis, died at the age of forty five.

The writer voiced disappointment about an absence of funding for MS research. Recalling her mum, the Edinburgh-based writer claimed : "I started writing Harry 6 months before she died. That's glaringly a genuine regret, because I never told her I was even writing it. "She never knew anything about Harry Potter at all.". By the point I graduated, she was in a wheelchair and in the house she required a walking frame.

"It was terrible to watch." Rowling, whose Harry Potter books have been transformed into a worldwide successful film series, recounted her ma had shown marked evidence of the sickness for 6 or 7 years before she was diagnosed. An insensibility in her right arm had spread over half her torso in a year. In 2006, multi-millionaire Rowling built a major money donation towards a multiple sclerosis research centre at Edinburgh varsity to assist in finding a cure.
