LONDON ( Hollywood Correspondent ) - Rocker Stings other half Trudie Styler has acquired film rights to the impending graphic novel Yankee Reaper. The tale is set in a future where identity burglary leads to victims having their minds erased and replaced by those of the aged rich looking for a 2nd youth or by wise guys and terrorists with added sinister motives. A bunch of special agents, known as Reapers, are formed to find and end those responsible. It was made by Pat Mills and Clint Langley. Mills, who will write the screen adaptation, has helped create a succession of hit graphic stories, including Judge Dredd and Marshal Law. Langley, who is understood for his cutting edge use of PC art imagery, has been his ordinary collaborator since 1991. Stylers Xingu Films is maybe famous for manufacturing the 2006 film A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, starring Robert Downey Jr. |
