Taylor Joseph made a decision to skip that route and instead found a book publisher.

The Canton girl's 1st novel, The Crossing, will be out on book shop shelves beginning Oct one. The concept for the novel was hatched 2 years back when Taylor, a Salem high school sophomore, caught a news bulletin on illegal immigration.

"A lot of my buddies are dazzled that I wrote a book," she smiled.

"I have always hankered after to be a writer and

when I told my pa, he instructed me to go for it and follow my dreams.". Taylor's dad, Lawrence, assisted her complete the book and is overseeing Taylor's budding career. "I knew the book had tons of potential and after reading it, I'd a feeling about it but I never knew it would probably take off like this," he claimed. Lawrence expounded the novel has gotten a good reply from those that have read its 199 pages. "We have a pair buddies who would not hesitate to damage our feelings if they believed it was bad," he claimed. Taylor, who wrote her 1st book when she was eight, asserted she never had any doubts about introducing The Crossing to the globe. "I told myself that if I wrote this, I wanted it out for the public," she announced. As she leafs thru the pages of The Crossing, Taylor, who loves basketball and being with her buddies, grins when debating her future and claims she would not mind staying in the literary world or changing into a nurse or a screenplay writer or a voice over for films. "Everyone has been so supportive," the teenager announces. Taylor Joseph, fifteen, of Canton chats about her book The Crossing, which is set for a state release this October.
