So none of her loved ones was shocked when she claimed that her 1st novel is being broadcast. After graduating from Roger Ludlowe highschool in Fairfield, Dallas passed on school in favor of 2 years rambling thru Europe. Her journeys included a night on the beach with 4 German infantrymans, a fling with a beautiful Irishman, and camping in Denmark.

"I worked for a while as an au pair for an Yankee ex-pat family in Dsseldorf, Germany, but she'd a different concept of housekeeping than I probably did, so it did not last too long" Dallas recounted during an interview on her terrace. On a return trip to Germany, she met a good-looking Chilean, married him and had 3 boys and a child. The family lived for many years in Santiago, Chile, arriving just after the decline of Gen Augusto Pinochet's repressive regime. Now remarried, she and her hubby, Don, travel at length. With that background, the stories that Dallas' novel, "Stolen Moments" is a love failed to surprise anyone either. "The one intimate scene is smoothly done and well written" writing coach Madeline Salustri claimed. "Marie knows the language and uses it well. Her hero and the dashing, loaded designer she's taking up with have the world fall down on them. "I thought she'd write a travel book or something like that" Frank Pauze claimed. I read often investigator stories so this isn't my thing, but I enjoyed it for the kind of book it was." Pauze, a cartoonist, is just as proud of his sister's design, for which he observes that she has had no formal coaching.

A cement maintaining wall at the rear of Dallas' backyard might for another person be an eyesore to be hidden with plants or a trellis. Instead, Dallas painted a fanciful mural of unicorns. "The seascape is truly nice, but I like all her stuff, the footage she is taking too" Pauze asserted. Marie and Don Dallas are working on their memoirs he's a retired paper columnist having done tours of obligation with the News-Times in Danbury and the New Haven Register. "We've been married eleven years and she appears ready to do roughly everything" Don Dallas expounded of his better half. "I'm struggling along, dithering over each word and Marie is in a position to complete a novel which has me turning the pages, needing to understand what is going to occur next. Often it's frightening all the things that Marie is good at." Dallas will debate her novel and sign copies at seven p.m.
